HGTV Birth Story

Like all great things created by a Scorpio, Her Guide to Venus was born from transformation.

What began as a story rooted in challenge and reinvention, quickly evolved into my greatest mission!

I started my first business at 29 in January 2020. Just two months later, the world came to a halt. Somehow, despite the chaos, I managed to keep the business afloat, and during COVID, it became more successful than I could have ever imagined.

I had moved to the country where my then-boyfriend was from. After a year of living there, I opened a yoga studio in our back garden. Running the studio awakened my love for business and showed me the profound impact a business can create.

I’ve always been drawn to astrology, dabbling here and there over the years. During COVID, with extra time on my hands, I decided to dive deeper. I began studying astrology one-on-one with my teacher. 

Soon, I started combining my yoga classes with astrology, focusing on the Moon’s cycles. Suddenly my classes became fully booked, and the studio became the success that it was. 

But even as the studio thrived, behind the scenes it wasn't so great.

I experienced sexism, control, and suppression while running the business. Which then worsened after my breakup with my partner. Suddenly, I had no power, no money, and I was labeled the "crazy one."

The experience of losing my first business and facing the challenges of being a female entrepreneur highlighted how little support exists for women in business and how deeply sexism still runs. Even at my lowest, I felt a strong inner knowing that I had a responsibility to help change how women are perceived and treated in entrepreneurship. 

Unsure of my next move but inspired by the power of astrology I had experienced in my yoga classes, I dedicated myself to studying astrology and business. My birth chart revealed a roadmap that validated my love for entrepreneurship and clarified my mission: to empower women and help them create profound change within themselves and their lives, creating their very own Venus on Earth. Over the years, I’ve been honoured to work with incredible women who are reshaping the world we live in by what they do and how they do it.
